A Little About the Center Manager

Sara Crumb

Sara is a native Washingtonian and alumna of both Washington State University (Go Cougs!) and the University of Washington. At WSU she earned a BS in Genetics and Cell Biology and a BA in Spanish Language and Culture. Working in a research lab proved too slow-paced for her, so she sought graduate programs that would help her connect science to the masses. This landed her at UW’s Institute for Public Health Genetics, where she earned a Master of Public Health. Fostering the critical thinkers of tomorrow is a passion of Sara’s, so Best in Class was a natural fit. In her free time, Sara loves going to concerts (symphony, rock, and everything in between), catching a movie at the theater, cooking, and enjoying the great outdoors.
